Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as a bob cat, skid steer, or man lift

Operate trucks to deliver materials to construction and customer sites in a safe and efficient manner

Check delivery tickets for special instructions and complete prior to arriving on the job

Maintain vehicle in a clean an orderly condition, inside and out

Maintain operator logs, time cards, mileage sheets, vehicle repair sheets, and records in accordance with company policy and departmental transportation regulations

May assist members of the work force in other areas of production, including shoveling materials on grade and pave projects, running plant loader, operating roller, driving water truck

Cleans truck by washing the outside and keeping the inside cab clean

Deliver ready mix concrete to commercial, construction and residential projects

MVR must meet company and DOT standards

Willing to train employees who may not have driving experience must curently maintain a CDL A or CDL B license

Ability to work effectively in a team environment being able to work independently with attention to detail

Willing to train employees who may not have driving experience must currently maintain a CDL A or CDL B license

Must pass medical physical, drug screen and criminal background check

Tanker and Hazmat endorsem*nts a plus

Responsibilities for dump truck driver

• Operates truck in a safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, in the yard area and various job sites to deliver materials, obeying applicable laws and following dispatch instructions
• Be able to manipulate truck steering wheel (power steering), shifter and other various levers and knobs
• Transport block, mortar and all other materials to and from Superlite Locations in a safe manner
• Maintain complete and accurate records using ELDs (Electronic Logging Device) and conventional record keeping such as drivers' daily truck log, fuel tickets, delivery documentation and any other required documents according to state and federal regulations
• Occasional cleaning/general maintenance of truck
• Drive trucks up to 26,000 pounds to destination for pick up and delivery based on instructions or directions received and by using maps
• Monitor vehicle during operation and report maintenance/repair requirements to Dispatcher
• Secure loads being transported to ensure safe arrival at destination
• Report and receive direction via radio or cellular phone
• Assist in loading and unloading of material transported as needed

Qualifications for dump truck driver

• Must maintain current driver’s license that meets state requirements, , CDL, Class A Driver with possible hazmat and tanker endorsem*nts
• Willing to train employees who may not have driving experience must currently maintain a CDL A license
• Ability to operate various types of heavy equipment that may include but not limited to Haul Truck and Asphalt Paving Equipment

• Frequent physical demands including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Possess a current and valid Class A CDL license
